Long time no post. What can I say, the world’s a busy place, and you sometimes get caught up in it’s whirlwinds.
Starting with this update, I’m going to try and make this a once-a-day-download hub, so anyone who wants to know what I’ve been kicking around can enjoy some good tunes.
Today’s lucky number is a band called Toe. I was introduced to them by a friend of a now defunct mutual-friend, and he recommended me their album, The Book About My Idle Plot on a Vague Anxiety. They’re a band from Japan, infusing elements of post-hardcore, post-rock, and mathcore (this is really only limited to drummer, Kashikura Takashi, who does an amazing job on every track). The album itself is short; it clocks out 38 minutes, 11 tracks, but by itself it’s a non-stop portrait of instrumentals which are ever-changing.
Download HERE and let me know what you guys think in the comments below. Any recommendations are welcome as well, so feel free to pipe in.
