Based out of Jacksonville, Florida, I had the pleasure of seeing these guys perform at the local all-ages venue some time ago. Having mentioned the group to the Flood Collective (Elias makes up some great names.) to somewhat favorable compliments, I figured I’d get more people into ‘em. Their sound could be described as experimental and prog, but in the end, it doesn’t matter because the songs in their 4-track S/T EP are golden. A standout track, “Paseo De Salamandria”, begins with a sweeping hypnotic rythm and from there on the rest is a blur, not noticing when one track ends and the other starts. Look for their tour dates here and look for their full-length to be released Fall of this year on Hello Sir Records.
